Located in the Historic 18th and Vine District and hosted by a different local musician weekly, this jam is open to ALL ages and skill levels. Always a great and appreciative audience there to support you. The last Monday of the month is typically reserved for a big band performance (check the schedule).

Pianist extraordinaire Mark Lowrey hosts the weekly jam at The Phoenix, located in downtown Kansas City, MO. This cool spot is great hang (21+ after 8pm) and has great food & drink. You are capable of hearing anything from Charlie Parker to Chick Corea to Bill Withers to Bruno Mars at this jam but it will always be great. Bring your instrument (or voice) but please, KNOW YOUR TUNES!

Mutual Musicians Foundation

Located in the Historic 18th and Vine District the Mutual Musicians Foundation has the longest running jam sessions in Kansas City. A time honored tradition, where many musicians would come to play after their gigs were done and they wanted to socialize. It has evolved into hosting some of this city's greatest talent week after week. Often you will leave as the sun is coming up ready for breakfast.
